Earth Day Bracelet


To make your bracelet, you will need the following supplies:

A pipe cleaner
Colored beads (1-3 beads of each color)


STEPS

1. Take your pipe cleaner and form a small loop at one end.
2. Add your colored beads, which each represent something on the Earth. Make a pattern or add them randomly.
3. Take the end of the pipe cleaner and put it through the loop you formed in step 1, and twist it shut.

Brown

Soil for growing food. It covers on 1/32 of the Earth and is less than 5 feet deep (Save land space).

Yellow

Sun warms the Earth and is needed for plant photosynthesis and growth (Save energy, Stop global warming).

Water, 97% is salt water, 3% is drinkable, fresh surface and groundwater (Save water, Protect our waterways).

Clear

Human actions (Plant pride, Not litter, Protect our wildlife and wild places, Don’t pollute).

Red

Animals and people can survive only if natural resources are conserved (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Re-buy).
